 On Saturday Potters Bar Ladies 1s travelled away to Havering, Essex, to play a rearranged game from earlier in the season. Read the 1st XI match report here.

9th February 2010

25th January 2010

 Potters Bar Ladies 1s played their first game since before the Christmas break away against Bishops Stortford. Read the 1st XI match report here.

 Bar 2nd XI's first game back after the long 5 week break over the Xmas period was a local derby against Queenswood 1st XI. Read the 2nd XI match report here.

13th December 2009

 A brilliant hatrick from Sarah Jowett & a well taken goal from Lucy Edward secure a 4-1 victory against a very strong Harpenden XI. Read the 1st XI match report.

 Goals from Esther Strous, Charlotte Pickup & an excellent 4 goal haul from Chris Field means that Bar 2nd XI stay in at least second place in the league going into the Christmas break with a 6-1 win. Read the 2nd XI match report.

 South Herts Hockey Club have now become Potters Bar Hockey Club, the following motion having being passed at the April 2009 AGM:
"The members of South Herts Ladies Hockey Club will from the commencement of the 2009/2010 season become the Ladies Section of Potters Bar Hockey Club, and will in future play their matches under that name, thereby revoking the name of South Herts Hockey Club."

 Training started on Monday 1st September and will be held every Monday from then on.

 A pre-season training session has been organised for Saturday 13th September, 1pm - 3.30pm.

Whitsun bank holiday weekend saw a number of South Herts ladies join the Potters Bar men on a tour to the Fun In The Forest tournament in Essex. A report of the tour is now on the Potters Bar men's website here.

 Summer holiday Junior Hockey at the Furzefield Centre
Coaches from Potters Bar and South Herts Hockey Club are running junior hockey sessions at the Furzefield Centre in Potters Bar as part of the Hertsmere Council ‘Be there do it’ programme. The sessions are for 9 to 15 year olds and sticks will be available to all those who attend.

The sessions are 3.00-4.00pm on the following dates:
- 30th July
- 6th August
- 13th August

 South Herts recently joined Potters Bar under the guise of "The Bar Stars" to send a mixed team on a hockey tour to Essex. I hope to put a report and photos up soon. Well done to all who went as the team won the mixed competition!

This tour was such a success, another one has been organised to East Grinstead in August.

 Training has been organised for 1pm - 3.30pm on the 13th September 2008. All are welcome.
